Summer 2012

Whew! It's a scorcher out there... makes me miss the cooler spring season. Alliance partners were busy in the spring - we're featuring a few of their completed projects on our website this quarter:

The County has also been busy working with the community to improve the health of our watersheds and promote sustainability. In fact, a number of our colleagues and County departments were recognized with 2012 Sustainability Awards for going above and beyond to help us reduce energy use, as well as conserve and restore green infrastructure. The Office of Sustainability and Environmental Resources (OSER) is offering information and incentives to homeowners to save energy and money by reducing environmental impacts. Check 'em out:
